How should we think?

Human beings are thinking beings. we think about a lot of things in a day. Therefore naturally a question arises that how should we think? It is because of the process of thinking that we have created so many things like science, religion, technology etc. But it is also due to our thinking that we have fought innumerable wars, we are in stress and depression and what not. Therefore it is evident that thinking is both good and bad, it depends upon how we think? Man can not live without thinking. Therefore it is very important that we must find out the right way of thinking. Socratese a famous greek philosopher has also said that," an unexamined life is not worth living". The above quote of Socratese summarizes the value of thinking in our life.
There are two ways of thinking one is thinking scientifically and the other is thinking emotionally. Since a few decades science has made a great deal of  progress in our world. It has taken over almost all areas of our thinking. But we must understand that thinking emotionally is as important as thinking scientifically. It is because of emotional thinking that our life is worth living. If we stop thinking emotionally then we will not be able to love our near and dear ones. Without emotional thinking we will not feel a sense of peace and restlessness will prevail in our life. Therefore we must strike a balance between the two kinds of thinking in order to derive the benefits of science as well as other areas such arts, music, religion etc. Which are derived by emotions.
